Project XVII Origins

"The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."

The Roman numeral "XVII" is an anagram (a rearrangement of letters) of the Latin word "Vixi". "Vixi" translated to English simply states "I have lived." Unfortunately, too many people live their entire lives without truly experiencing what it has to offer; this includes taking risks and stepping outside of our comfort zones. Only a small percentage of people will be able to look back on their life and truly say, "I have lived."

Furthermore, European history has often looked at the number "17" as bad luck, most likely due to this translation. However, where others let their fear hold them back from fulfillment, we embrace it as a necessary means to personal growth.

Fear or Fulfillment.
